You can try for 30 days! Just hesitant to add another tool to my writing stack—I already use Notion for freelance work, so most of my scenes start there.
What a great list! Thank you for sharing this. There are a lot of new-to-me resources that I'll check out.
As for content that I'd like to see more of, I chose author daily life snapshots, and I guess what I mean by that is journal-type entries that aren't prescriptive or instructive. I guess maybe it's a combination of daily life snapshots and personal essays? I am always interested in what people are thinking and observing as they go about their usual routines. :-)
Quite belated but extremely grateful for this list!! I’ve been saving it to dive into when I had a chunk of solid time and I’ll be saving it to reference many times to come, I’m sure! I hoping to revitalize my writing this fall, after months “off”, and this list is inspiring and motivating me. I think I may treat myself with a purchase or two of these books, etc :)
I absolutely loved this newsletter. As someone who is just starting to investigate the possibility of writing a book I want to read and learn all I can. You provided some excellent reading material!
I just have to say how much I love that scrunchies are on this list.
Once a ‘90s gal, always a ‘90s gal!
Exactly!
What a service you are to the world of aspiring writers. Thank you, thank you , thank you!
I am so glad this was helpful!!
Now you're making me wonder if I should try Scrivener! I also love Harney & Sons, their Victorian London Fog is a must for my homemade tea lattes.
Okay, writing that down :) I wonder if you could do a Scrivener trial?
